My name is Gareth Evans and I’m passionate about Padel.

I fell in love with the sport many years ago during a trip to Spain and I’m delighted the sport has finally made it to the UK.

The UK padel explosion is hugely exciting, it is the fastest-growing sport in the country and there has been a huge surge in demand for courts.

The LTA estimates there are 350 padel courts in the UK but that number will rise.

Padel Ventures was created to help manage that demand, by providing a complete turn-key solutions for individuals, businesses looking to install courts.

We work with a range of manufacturers and suppliers to create bespoke solutions for our clients.

Planning For Padel? Here are the key steps

The UK Padel boom has seen a huge surge in demand for padel courts.

They are a third the size of a tennis court and relatively straightforward to install – but beware the pitfalls of rushing in.

There are a number of key stages required and Padel Ventures can manage the whole journey or provide assistance.

1: Design and Planning

Padel Courts do require planning permission even if it is change of use. Our team will provide concept designs with detailed drawings to follow once permission is granted.

2: Preparation

Padel Ventures will consider all aspects of the installation including environmental considerations, water run-off management and lighting placement before works begin.

3: Earthworks

Our team will prepare the foundations, a crucial part of the padel court process to ensure the integrity of the court and install drainage system to protect court.

4: Install Ring Beam

Padel Ventures install a sub-base and base followed by the installation of a concrete perimeter ring beam designed by a structural engineer to ensure the structural integrity of the court.

5: Walls & Enclosure

Your chosen Padel Court enclosure is now installed with supporting posts and panels fixed with base plates.


6: Padel Court Surface

Your personalised Padel Court artificial surface is installed and dressed with sand. This provides the optimum playing surface and all-year-round playability.
